Chelsea clashed with their rivals Man U at Wembley Stadium, with Chelsea FC taking the win.
Chelsea started off with a high possession against Man U. Though Man U put up a heated defence, the first goal came late into the first half, from Chelsea’s side by Oliver Giroud.
Right at the start of second half, Chelsea’s Mason Mount scored a second goal at the 46th minute. Antonio Rudiger gifted Chelsea with the third goal at around 74th minute. Hudson Odoi fouled Antony Martial granting Man United a penalty. Bruno Fernandes scored the penalty giving Man U a one goal score. The game ended as a 3-1 win for Chelsea.
Lampard comments on Chelsea’s win,”the team worked very hard in the last two days to counter Man United running in behind and also getting players into the midfield to make tackles.”
Chelsea will be back at Wembley in two weeks to match against Arsenal in the FA cup finals.
